Advice for requests for letters of reference
Important information
You should allow at least one month’s notice for the issuing of a letter of reference.
We cannot process requests at short notice. Please contact Susan Fay at the chair’s
office at least one month prior to needing the letter of reference and submit your CV,
transcript of records and, if available, a letter of motivation on paper or via mail.
The emphasis should lie on your academic goals and perspectives.
If everything is in order you will be invited to a meeting with Professor Sunde in his office.
You should prepare yourself for this meeting in order to reply to questions regarding your
academic goals and perspectives, as well as the content of the lectures you have been attending.
Please state your requirements for the letters of reference and it’s recipients in your first
contact or during your first interview with Prof. Sunde.
